If you cannot find the answer here you are more than welcome to pop into the studio and our team will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

 

How much will my tattoo cost?
There are many factors to take into consideration when giving a price for a tattoo such as design details, placement, your skin type etc.  It's always best to pop into the studio so that we can get to know you and conduct a proper consultation to discuss design and placement with you.  

 

Do I need to make an appointment?

It is always better to make an appointment to avoid disappointment, especially if the design is quite large or complex. However, if we have space on the day we will try to accommodate you. You may have to wait for a while or return later in the day as it depends how far ahead we are booked varies with each artist.

Do you do cover-ups/reworks?

Yes we do cover-ups and it's usually a good idea to book a consultation with us, this will enable us to get a good look at your existing tattoo as pictures don't always give a true representation.

Do I need to make an appointment for a consultation?

Preferably, however please feel free to just pop in but please bare in mind that you might have a little wait as our artists are busy. You can request a consultation via our contact page on social media or direct via our email at thetwistedjester14@gmail.com.

Can I make an appointment online?

You can make an appointment online by using the contact page on our homepage, or you can email us directly at thetwistedjester14@gmail.com.  Due to the nature of tattooing it is difficult to implement an online diary as each tattoo will have a different timeframe.

Can I bring my own design?

You can use designs as a reference to enable us to understand your thought process and give us a better idea of the overall look of the tattoo you would like. We usually prefer to design a tattoo that's unique to you.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Absolutley. They start at £20 upwards. Please feel free to pop by the studio at any time. They make a fantastic gift. We can only accept cash for these.

Do you do piercings?

At the moment we only do tattoos, this will be changing in the future.

 

Do you take credit/debit cards?

Where possible we prefer to take cash, however, we can accept bank transfer payments. Bank details vary for each artist. We do not take card payments.

 

How old do you have to be to be tattooed?

You must be 18 years old.  No exceptions. There is no such thing as parental permission 

 

Can I cancel my appointment and will I get my deposit back?

If you choose to cancel your appointment you will lose your deposit as this covers us for time spent with you and any drawings that we may have already done. Deposits are non-refundable unless in the unlikely event that we need to cancel completely. If your artist is ill at the time of your appointment you will be offered an alternative date to suit you, if you refuse an alternative date you are cancelling your appointment.  If you wish to postpone your appointment and you have given us 48 hours notice, we will honour your deposit. If you simply do not show up for your appointment you will lose your deposit.

 

How do I get tattooed at a convention?

Yes, you can be tattooed at a convention. Details of any conventions we'll be working are on our events page. We only take bookings for conventions, but if we have time we will do walk ups.
